Super strength turned Kapitan Sino!

*Mejo nahirapan ako sa paghahanap ng book na ito. Wala sa National Bookstore ng Glorietta so ang next stop ko eh sa National Bookstore ng Trinoma, wala pa din. Finally, pinuntahan ko yung Powerbooks (Trinoma) meron na!! pero mga 7 copies na lang yung nakita ko. Anyways.. (ayokong maging spoiler so di ako masyado maglalabas ng kwento d2)

Four stars ang rating hindi dahil hindi siya maganda pero may mga nabanggit lang na mga pangyayari, bagay, at pangalan na hindi pamilyar sa akin so di ko masyado na-appreciate. Tulad ng:

*Pelikulang Iron Eagle
*Sino si Jograd De la Torre?
*Sino si Carole King? at ano ang mga kanta niya?

May part din dun na may halimaw na pala pero di masyadong nagsink-in sa akin (eto na kasi yung part na nakatulugan ko..)

Ang libro na ito ay sumsalamin ng isang tipikal na barangay sa isang probinsya. Mula sa uri ng pamilya, klase ng pag-uugali at ang kapaligiran. Sabi ni BO (sa facebook) na mas makakarelate yung mga magbabasa nito na ang edad eh 27 pataas.

May love story rin dito sa libro (isang chapter din yun ah). Yun nga lang tragic. Pwede nga itong gawing pelikula eh dahil sa mga dramatic scenes. Madami din quotable quotes sa chapter na yun..

Lahat lahat, maganda siya. Madami kayong mapupulot na aral at karagdagang kaalaman (katulad din sa iba pa niyang libro.).

"Cheska, gising na, may pasok ka pa di ba?" Pag-gising ni Mila sa kanya.
Nalimpungatan si Cheska. Natapos ang kanyang bangungot. Napasinghap siya kasabay ng pag dilat ng kanyang mga mata. Buhay pa siya.

"Isa lang masamang panaginip.." bulong ni Cheska sa sarili. Ngunit hapung-hapo siya. Nakatitig lang siya sa kisame ng kwarto, nakatitig sa kawalan. Matapos ang ilang sandali, inilibot niya ang kanyang paningin sa paligid. Isang pamiliar na kwarto, parehong mga gamit, ang kanyang kama, ang aparador, ang pinto. Naramdaman na niya ang init ng sinag ng araw na tumatagos sa nakabukas na kahoy na bintana. Bumangon na siya at nagsimulang maghanda para sa pagpasok niya sa eskwelahan.

Habang nasa daan tila iba ang pakiramdam ni Cheska sa paligid. Magaan ang kanyang pakiramdam. Tila di na niya kelangan pang alalahanin ang panaginip niya kanina. Napatingin na lamang siya sa labas ng bintana ng FX na sinasakyan niya. Malayo pa siya sa kanyang eskwelahan, matagal pa ang biyahe.

Nakarinig siya ng isang sigaw mula sa loob ng sasakyan. Naramdaman niyang may likidong tumulo mula sa kanyang noo.
"Dugo?"

Dumilim ang kapaligiran. Nilamon ng katahimikan ang kapaligiran, namanhid ang kanyang buong katawan. Sumikip ang paligid. Hindi siya makahinga.

"Andito na tayo" saad ng drayber.
Doon nagmulat ang mga mata ni Cheska. Bigla siyang napahawak sa noo niya. Walang bahid ng dugo.
"Miss, baba ka ba o hindi?"
Nagmamadaling bumaba si Cheska sa sasakyan.
"Isang panaginip na naman?" Nabahala ang kalooban ni Cheska, tila hindi magiging maganda ang araw na iyon para sa kanya.

Puno man ng alinlangan ang kanyang isipan, tinahak pa din niya ang daan patungo sa kanyang silid-aralan. Ilan pa lang ang mga kaklase niya na nasa silid. Napa-aga siya ng pasok. Nagtungo siya sa bakanteng silya na nasa likuran, ang silyang madalas niyang upuan. Kakaibang kapangyarihan ang tila lumukob sa kanyang buong pagkatao. Bigla niyang nasilayan ang kanyang sarili sa isang kwarto na puno ng mga makukulay na kanvas. Inilibot niya ang kanyang paningin. Nakaramdam siya ng matinding lungkot na di niya mawari. Marahil ito ay dahil sa katahimikan ng silid.

May nakita siyang isang blankong puting papel katabi nito ay isang pudpod na lapis. Kinuha niya ang mga ito at sinubukang gumuhit. Naisipan niyang gumuhit ng isang puno. Nang natapos niya ito, nagulat siya sa nakita. Isang puno na walang mga dahon, walang bulaklak o prutas man lang. Ito'y tuyo't marupok na. Nabitawan ni Cheska ang papel kasabay nun ang pagpatak ng dugo mula sa kanyang noo.

"Eto na naman!" napasigaw si Cheska.

Hindi niya malaman kung mahuhumindang siya sa nangyayari sa kanya ngayon. Inatake siya ng hindi masukat na taokt at kawalan ng pag-asa. Pakiramdam niya ayaw na niyang gumising pa para lang sumailalim sa walang katapusang panaginip na ito.

"Madami pa akong gustong gawin! hindi ko to maintindihan!"
"TULUNGAN NIYO KO!"
"TULUNGAN NIYO KO!"
"tulungan..niyo..ko!"

"Ms. Cheska? Ms. Cheska?"
Unti-unting iminulat niya ang kanyang mga mata. Napakaliwanag ng paligid. Nakakasilaw. Hinanap ng kanyang mga mata ang tumatawag sa kanyang pangalan. Natagpuan niya sa kanyang tabi ang isang nars.

"Gising ka na Ms. Cheska" saad ng nars.
"Sino ka?" nagtatakang tanong ni Cheska sa babae.
"Ako nga pala si Nica, ako yung naka-assign na nurse sayo."
"Anong nangyari sa akin? Bakit ako nandito?" muli niyang tanong
"Na-comatose ka, mag-iisang buwan ka ng walang malay.."
"Comatose? Papaanong.." nabigla siya sa sinabi ng nars.
"Naaksidente ang sinasakyan mong FX noon at dead on arrival ang lahat ng mga pasahero pati yung drayber maliban sa iyo, ikaw lang ang maswerteng nakaligtas."
"Nakaligtas.. ako.."

Purple day (March 27, 2009)

It was indeed a purple day yesterday. There were a lot of people in purple, whether girl or guy, young or old.

Unfortunately, I don't have any purple blouse. I'm not one of them.

Lord Jesus,

Sana po pagbigyan nio na ako sa pagkakataon na to. Kahit na di nio na ako bigyan ng boyfriend (hmm..)Ay sandali lang po! Ano na lang, kahit idelay nio na lang po pala yung sa boyfriend..Unahin nio na po ito, sige na. Top one ko po itong pinagdadasal. I'm sure naman po nakikita nio kung anong lagay ko at alam nio po ang saloobin ko at kung gaano kagulo ang buhay ko.Pleeeaaassseeee. Simple lang naman po yung buhay na gusto ko eh. Yun bang normal lahat at balanse lahat. Alam nio na po kung anong ibig kong sabihin. Ayoko lang po na wala na po akong magagawa dahil ganun talaga ang buhay: mahirap, magulo at nakakalula. Alam ko pong may magagawa pa ako.

Sinusubukan ko po talagang ayusin to at tanggapin ng buong puso itong pinapagawa nio sa akin kaya lang po, masyadong magulo tong napasok ko. Alam nio yun, ang hirap huminga. Tska po Lord, di naman po ako nag-iisa sa dasal kong to. Madami naman po kami. At alam ko din po na kahit mas mabait sila sa akin, naririnig nio pa din naman ako di ba?

Hay, sana po talaga, pagbigyan nio ako at suportahan.. At sana po habang andito pa po ako, bigyan nio po ako ng tibay ng loob na tanggapin ang mga nangyayari at mahabang pasensya (as in yung mahaba na po na pwedeng meron ang isang normal na tao). Sana din po, i-enlighten nio din po yung mga ibang tao na (alam nio na..) mejo lihis ng landas. Ayoko po talaga sa kanila pero alam ko pong kelangan ko silang tanggapin, pero sana po magbago na po sila para naman po kahit paano matahimik ang kalooban ko.

2. My birthday is on July 17, its only this year that I look forward on my birthday because I know it will be "very" memorable for me. I actually have one wish for my birthday and I will make it happen *no one can stop me this time.*

3. I am not a critical thinking (it stresses me out) I chose to be more of a creative thinker because it is more free, more fun and more creative?!(labo!)

4. My friends would descibe me as "mataray"/"masungit" and I really don't mind because that's me. I feel sick whenever I try to be "nice" and "kind" (yuck!) Its simply not me.

5. Whenever I don't like a person, I really don't like that person (final!). I would also not try to "like" HER/him in whatever case/situation.

6. I am a member of NBSB club and I really don't mind. Although sometimes, I get shocked with the news around me and I would ask my self if "Am I out of trend already" but I don't like to "maki-uso" *haha!*

7. I like to read books but since I am already working and what I have are my books in college, I decided to read the Reader's Digest (for additional info and to be updated) *I have to keep my brain cells working - into a much fruitful thing*

8. I like spending time with my friends but lately I am so busy and "out-of-reach?!"

I just want to share the news I saw in Imbestigador a while ago. I really didn't plan to watch but since I have nothing to do naman kaya yun. I was just listening to the news because I am reading something and then un nga, there's this news about a hacker, the guy's friendster was hacked by somebody and it seems that the hacker tried to blackmail him through the things the hacker knew about him (mga secrets siguro, she found out sa friendster) and there were also threats sa text kaya naman nagreklamo na yung guy sa Imbestigador.

So there was an entrapment operation done by NBI and Imbestigador. AT guess where sila nagmeet-up para sa payment (kapalit ng email at password which is worth 5k)..

sa ASTURIAS lang naman..

AT nakauniform pa yung isang GIRL..

naka pang CFAD siya.

grabe, tska na niya nakuha yung attention ko.

Pinaghiwalay yng dalawang girl (2 kasi yng hacker), yng isang nakacivilian lang, at umamin siya nung tanungin siya. Pero yung tagaCFAD, nagdeny pa (bad). Nung nagkita na yung Guy at yung mga hacker, he found out na kaschoolmate niya before yung girl (na tagaCFAD). Napagtripan lang daw nila yung gawin at gagastusin nila yung pera pang kain (which I doubt..)

Ayun, nakulong yung girls (I think overnight sila dun) pero iniurong din yung demanda kasi nagsorry ng todo2 yung dalawa at naawa yung guy.

But still, kakahiya yun ah, graduating din kasi yung girl at pag nalaman ng management ng UST yun, baka msuspend siya.
