I want something like this!

I felt that my brain cells are not working properly lately. I get frustrated because of that. I tried searching the internet for something that I can do this summer that would help me with my dilemma.

I saw this job advertisement and I like the job description indicated:

Requirements:

  • Working closely with other departments, increasingly acting as a consultancy professional, and assisting the line managers in understanding and implementing procedures and policies. - I'm sure this will help me improve my management skills
  • Recruiting staff which includes creating and developing job descriptions, providing support in preparing advertisements, screening application forms, short-listing the candidates, interviewing and selecting them. - all around!
  • Developing HR policies on issues like working conditions, equal opportunities, performance, management, absence management, and disciplinary procedures. - mentally challenging task
  • Advising on pay including employee benefits and promotion and other issues on remuneration. - so so
  • Administering and preparation of payroll and ensuring that department managers receive an accurate and timely assistance in response to particular queries related to HR policies or other aspects of employment legislation. - not so my favorite
  • Interpreting and notifying employees on employment legislation.
  • Listening to grievances of employees and implementing appropriate disciplinary procedures. - :(
  • Conduct orientation for newly hired employees. - like
  • Advising management on career development, work matters, industrial matters, and personal problems. - consultant task!
  • Preparing advertisement and notices for vacant positions in the organization. - piece of cake!
